The Department is equipped with huge infrastructure and all facilities with highly qualified & experienced Staff to cater the need for intake of 120 students. The department has dedicated 100 Mbps internet leased line for connecting all departments and their laboratories to share the information at the finger tips. The latest configuration desktops organized in seven different laboratories plus the dedicated IBM X series servers, printers and scanners make the IT experience a truly world class.  
    The Department has always been on a high growth path and given university rank holders in summer-2019 results where total three students have shared 1st university rank in 4th semester, one student secured 3rd university rank in 4th semester and one more student secured 2nd university rank in 8th semester likewise we are having university rankers in winter-2019 results as well in every semester. Our total 109 students have been placed with good packages indifferent reputed companies like TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Tech-Mahindra, Coditas etc. Students are encouraged to get hands-on experience in the corporate world through internship, sponsored projects for which department has signed MOUs with leading industries like Ten40 Infotech, Saniconpvt Ltd., Techintern, Qaswa technologies etc.
    Department has its students forum named “KRANS” under which different technical events, workshops, conferences and seminars were organized. ?Students are also encouraged to appear in GATE, GRE, TOFEL, CAT and other examinations for higher studies. ?Teaching and Learning through NPTEL courses for staff and students for various technical subject. ?Teacher as a Mentor. ?Supportive Learning for Placements through assessment and workshop to enhance soft and technical skill. ?Expert Lectures from Industry Institute Interaction. Students are encouraged for Report Writing & Paper Presentation, Exhibition. ?Remote center of IIT Mumbai (NMEICT) conducts various training/orientation/student/faculty development programs (AICTE approved) using online and blended mode. Remote Center of Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, ISRO,Deharadun Dept. of Space, Govt. of India.The training and capacity building programmes of the Institute are designed to meet the requirements of various target/user groups i.e., for professionals at working, middle and supervisory levels, fresh graduates, researchers, academia and decision makers.
