Prof Zakir S. Khan, Heads the Department of Physical Education and Sports under Department of Basic Science and Humanities, from 2001.He is 20 years of experience and is himself, M. P. ED.(Master of Physical Education), M.A.(Sociology), M.A.(Hindi) & Ph.D. pursuing from RTM Nagpur University and he has in Karate-do Black Belt 7th Dan from Palermo, Italy, World Karate Federation(WKF) and All India Karate-Do Federation(AIKF) and “A” Level National & “B” Level International Referee in Karate for Kumite(Fighting) and Kata(Individual Self Demonstration). Prof Zakir S. Khan is also giving Karate Training to Maharashtra Police Commando. The College maintain a full fledge Sports activity centre throughout the year and provides facilities for outdoor and indoor games for near about 18 to 22 Events. The College also participate in Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University Inter-Collegiate Sports Meet in 38 events.The College also organize every year “ENGINEERS CUP”(RTMNU All Engineering Inter-Collegiate Futsal & Volleyball Tournament),this year also organized 15th ENGINEERS CUP-2015, Prof Zakir S. Khan is also Program officer for College National Service Scheme(NSS) 100 No. Volunteers Unit and Project Officer for college Continuing Adult Education & Extension Program(CAEE) 260 No. Projectee Unit.
