Dr. Ahmed Sajjad Khan - Head Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering is headed by Prof. Dr.Ahmed Sajjad Khan. He has done his PhD in Information and Technology. He has more than 27 years of teaching experience and published large number of research papers in National & International Journal & Conferences.
Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering was established in the year 1999 with intake capacity of 60.
Department also started a PG course, M-TECH (Electronics & Communication Engineering) in 2014-15.
The department boasts of highly qualified and experienced professors.
The Mission of department is “To create conducive academic culture for learning and identifying career goals in the field of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. To impart research oriented technical education in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. To impart necessary skills and promote professional practice to enhance placement and entrepreneurship in Electronics and Telecommunication contributing to the socio- economic growth. To inculcate core values and ethics”.
The program provides knowledge necessary to comprehend fundamentals of communication engineering.
The objective is also to develop communication skills and ethical values so that students can be successful professionals along with being socially responsible.
To infuse self-learning and lifelong learning by engaging them in field work, live projects etc.
The Department is well equipped with 18 labs with total investment of more than One Crore Rupees.
The major equipment’s include VHDL Kits, DSP Processor Kits, ARM Evaluation Board, Software like MATLAB 15a, MULTISIM v.10, ULTIBOARD & QUARTUS-II, etc.
Department takes pride in having sophisticated machines, such as the PCB designing machines.
Department is having its own fully updated computer lab with internet facility.
The department annually releases its newsletter “X- PRESS”.
The department has gained the distinction of producing merit holders with students appearing among the top University rankers. The Department has moved from strength to strength and has always tried to achieve academic excellence and has tried to inculcate the spirit of Research & Development among the faculty as well as students.
